Every repair — including for Brisbane customers — starts with a free photo assessment, and frames are then sent to us by post. Yes. We repair both prescription glasses and sunglasses frames, across materials from acetate and titanium to buffalo horn and composite. Our work focuses on the frame and its hardware — we don't repair or replace lenses, polarised filters or lens coatings.

Not every pair of glasses can be repaired, and we'll always tell you honestly if a repair isn't viable or wouldn't meet our standard. It depends on the type of damage, the material, the construction and whether compatible components are available. Submitting photos for a free assessment is the best way to find out, and if you decide not to go ahead there's no charge.

Send photos of the damage through the assessment form or WhatsApp. We review them and respond with a fixed-price quote within one business day, before any work begins and with no obligation to proceed. You pay after your repaired frames are delivered back to you, not before.

Starting prices range from $49 to $69 AUD depending on the service your frame needs. Pricing is the same wherever you are in Australia, and the figure you're quoted after your photo assessment is a fixed price for your specific frame, confirmed before any work begins.

Once you accept your quote we send packing instructions and a postal address, and you post your frames to us — we recommend registered or tracked post so you're covered through Australia Post. Repaired frames come back to you by tracked post at no extra charge, with return shipping included in the cost of every completed repair.

No. OptiFixLab is based in Brisbane, but the postal repair process works the same everywhere — submit photos, receive a fixed-price quote, then post your frames. We accept frames from every state and territory.

Eligible repairs are covered by a 3-month workmanship warranty. If a repair fails because of a defect in our workmanship during that period, we'll assess and rework it at no additional charge. It doesn't cover new damage, accidental impact, misuse or normal wear and tear.
